Despite the many nicknames I’ve garnered through the almost-28 years of my life, I’m Mary. Simple, short, to the point - a bit like me, if I’m being honest.

I’m short and working on no longer being semi-round though I refuse to ever get rid of curves. I live for books, music, theatre, dance, and sleep. I love iced tea, flip-flops, and cute dresses. I want to travel the world - so if you’re looking for a visit, let me know. ;-)
I wish love was accepted everywhere for everyone. I hope that I’m proud of my life when I’m older. I believe beauty and pain are needed to have a balanced life. I expect others to show me the same respect I show them.
I watch Food Network, HGTV, Discovery and Travel more than I should. I read YA, romance, memoirs, erotica, suspense thrillers, and everything in between. I collect quotes.
I am lucky to have a family that loves me. I spend my Sundays during the fall and winter watching football, then feel lost during Spring and Summer. I sometimes forget to eat lunch.
I appreciate life, despite any hardships or moments of boredom, because I believe everything will be okay in the end. I enjoy all types of randomness. I understand that life is what we make it but sometimes wish not everything was so difficult to achieve.
